Last Seminar and Final Project Week

Hi Everyone:

This is it the big week-final projects are due. I still have a few changes and updates to make and I hope to work on those tonight and have my paper complete and turned in by Thursday or Friday at the latest. This has been a great class and I have learned even more about writing that will be beneficial for me as I continue on my quest to complete my BS. Good luck to all in their quest and adventure in education and hope to see some of you if not all in a future class one day.

Week 8

Hey everyone, decided to take care of this blog tonight so I do not forget again. Holiday weekend coming up and we are off on Monday the 5th. I can not wait to have a long weekend to spend with my family. I have not seen much of them the last couple of weeks. Promised all them, no home work and no work-work. My oldest is in from Alabama so I need to spend some quality time with the family. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend.

Long Crazy Work Week

Hi everyone, sorry this is late. It has been a rough couple of weeks. Very short handed at work and working long hours with no time for homework. I completely forgot about the blog post. I am even considering after this term taking a break from school because of the long hours I will have to work over the next 4-5 months. We had a big lay off and some other employees leave on their own, so I am doing 3 jobs right now. Crazy, but at least I have a job. So I will try and keep up with all of you the rest of the term.

Unit 6 Post Draft Outline

Hi to all,

Hope everyone is doing great. This weeks assignment for the discussion board will be a trying task for me I believe. I have never created a post draft outline before only a pre-draft outline. I feel like I should have read ahead in the weeks and wrote my 1st draft last weekend so I would be ready to create the post draft outline. Feeling a little behind. So looks like tonight I will be putting together my first rough draft so I can complete the post draft outline for the DB before the deadline on Saturday. A couple of late nights ahead for me. Hope everyone else wrote their rough draft already.

Long & Stressful Week

Well the last 2 weeks have been long a stressful for me at work. Summer time and people are taking vacation so we have been really shorthanded. Mine turn is coming in July so I look forward to that. I have not really had the time I would normally spend on class work and reading the last 2 weeks and unfortunately for me my math class is a result of that. So grateful this class seems to being going well and we are not having to write long papers every week, if that were the case this class I'm sure would be suffering to. Hopefully next week all staff members will be back in their desk and I can go back to doing just my job. Have a great week and weekend.

Quiz

Hi everyone, just completed our first quiz. Do not ask me how I did, because I have no clue. I will have to wait until the grade is posted. This week has been a long week, so I'm just now getting around to posting to the DB and my blog. The quiz was short, so I hope I got the answers right. Hope everyone's week is going well and the articles for the your topics are easily found. I plan to research some other areas of more information before I start working on my outline for this paper. The more information found the better.

Blog-o-sphere

As stated before this blogging thing is very new to me and I have never had any interest in all the websites such as facebook, myspace, or twitter. I have a fear of posting things on the internet, especially anything of a personl nature. I have been witness to just how much damage someone who knows there way around a computer can manipulate things and cause harm to others. Yes, like computer genius or hackers. I have known two people in my life that I have seen hack into someones personal web page and have access to things and then manipulate or send things places it should not be, especially pictures. I am from the era of my business is my business and if I want you to know anything I will tell you personally. So this will be a different experience for me. Tracie

Still getting use to this whole blogging thing. Did add a few things to my profile. I'm real comfortable with posting personal information so only added a few items.

Creating a Blog

I am not much on facebook, myspace, or twitter so blogging has never been my thing. At my age who would of that I'd be creating a blog. It was painless, quick, and who knows may turn out to be fun.
